Staging of exhibits on show day is from 8.30am to 11.00am after which the hall will be cleared for judging

1* – Collection of 5 different vegetables laid flat on the bench 

2* – Novice Class: 3 different vegetables laid flat on the bench

3 – 4 Potatoes – white

4 – 4 Potatoes – other than white

5 – 3 Beetroot – tops trimmed to 75mm

6* – 3 Onions from seed – dressed 

7 – 5 Onions from sets – dressed 

8 – Heaviest Onion – as grown, not dressed, with roots & top attached

9 – 8 Shallots – dressed 

10 – 1 Cabbage – any variety 

11 – 5 French Beans – climbing or dwarf – stalk attached

49* – Children’s Class: A Garden in a standard Seed Tray. Approximate size – 350mm x 200mm. Age limit 14 years.

50* – Children’s Class: A floral arrangement in an old boot. Age limit 14

*Trophies awarded in these classes.  **Trophy awarded to the best exhibit in the tomato classes. Trophies also awarded to the Lady and Gentleman scoring the most points overall, and to the exhibitor gaining the most points in the vegetable classes.  A trophy will be awarded for Best in Show.
